This outstanding ornamental is a New England heirloom variety that has been hand selected by the Underwood family of Easthampton, MA for three generations. It has been selected for shorter and stronger plants to help prevent lodging; shinier and glossier kernels; 30-35% red husks and an ideal shank length for ease of pulling the husk back. The ears average 9 to 11 in length and have a wide range of color combinations including striped kernels. We’re sure you’ll find this fine ornamental corn to be an attractive addition to your fall displays.
